COSMOPOLITAN EDUCATION
What is the
most important thing in international exchange while
globalization advances on many fronts, including economy,
politics and culture? We consider understanding toward people
and cultures as the most important. It is because no matter how
society advances or gets complicated, the fundamental of
person-to-person relationships will never change. What makes an
advancement in international exchange is human relationships
after all, and the expert knowledge will be useless without
understanding toward others and their culture. International
exchange will not advance if we cannot answer the question “what
kind of culture is Japanese culture?” International exchange
begins with understanding each other’s background, including
