 Cultivating a rich character Continuous education from kindergarten through graduate school Seitoku Gakuen is a comprehensive educational institution, offering an educational program from kindergarten through graduate school. Our main campus is in Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture, with numerous other locations in the Tokyo area. In order to encourage students to become women with individuality and independence, it is necessary for them to learn social rules, such as proper etiquette and the ability to distinguish between right and wrong. However, the kind of "humanistic education" that teaches sensitivity and respect cannot be accomplished overnight. It is achieved through perseverance, cultivated slowly from kindergarten through to higher education. That is why Seitoku Gakuen has established kindergartens as well as primary, junior high and high schools as an integral part of its educational system. While each of these schools is independent, they all share the common goal of educating students in the "spirit of harmony," tailored to each stage of learning. In response to the recent internationalization of society, we have also introduced new elements into the program designed to develop internationally sophisticated persons with the eagerness and flexibility to understand foreign cultures and to play an active role on the world stage.  |
