JUNIOR AND SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
Continuous education for integrated growth of academic ability
and individuality

Seitoku Gakuen's junior and senior high schools inculcate the legacy of the "spirit of harmony," steeping students in art and tradition, and providing them with a "humanistic education" that nurtures a compassionate spirit with an awareness of current issues. Students receive a continuous education on the same campus during their six years of junior and senior high school, which cultivates empathy and dignity, and provides them with the drive, sophistication, academic ability, and skills necessary for women to succeed. In the planned curriculum, students discover the subjects they most enjoy and form aspirations for the future, allowing them to confidently take the first steps down their chosen career paths.

The Ogasawara School of Decorum cultivates a spirit of compassion
The standard curriculum of this school is the traditional Ogasawara method of decorum, teaching students a sophisticated form of etiquette, from basic courtesy to proper manners. At the completion of the course, junior high school students are granted the title of Wakamurasaki no Den, while high school students become Hanakazura no Den.

Off-campus programs help form relationships and encourage hard work
Off-campus programs conducted at Seitoku Gakuen's seminar houses allow students to experience agricultural work in fields or rice paddies, and give them a respect for the skills necessary in group activity, such as cooperation, a positive attitude, leadership ability and a sense of responsibility.

Dining together to foster gratitude and personal interaction
The entire student body gathers in the dining hall for the noontime meal, sitting together with the teachers. These meals provide an opportunity for informal communication between students and teachers, allowing students to learn table manners and interact as a group. Students also learn to be thankful for meals through meditation and prayer preceding meals.
